Wow, it has been a long time since my last post. Let me tell you that in all fairness to my parents, I have been keeping them pretty busy, and if I am not in need of something immediately, then my big brother Alex is needing something too. We kinda tag team them, but Mommy says that since my needs are more immediate right now, that sometimes I get to go first with eating and getting my pants changed. Thanks Mommy for that, I really hate wet and messy pants, and when I am hungry, I want to eat NOW!
So in case you haven’t seen me lately, I am no longer a little peanut, Daddy says I am more of a Brazilian nut. At my last Dr. appointment, right before Halloween, I weighed in at 13.1 pounds…and I am now wearing 6 months clothes, having outgrown my 3 month clothes a few weeks ago. Mommy, CC, Shy Shy, and I had a great time shopping at Carter’s last week for new clothes – it was my first girls night out! What fun we had finding pretty things and my favorite are the war fleece things…I love being warm – Daddy says that is kinda the opposite of my brother, and he thinks that I am expensive, since Mommy made him turn up the heat in my bedroom at night so I am warmer!
That is another update, Mommy, reluctantly, moved me into my nice crib. I LOVE my mobile, that plays music, or the heart beat (which kinda reminds me of Daddy’s snoring) and has animals moving around and projected on the canopy – Alex likes it too!
Speaking of Alex, he is a GREAT big brother. He talks to me, and checks in on me when I am sleeping in my crib, and he helps turn on my mobile with the special remote. He helps tells my parents when I need something, in case my cries didn’t get through to them! He likes to know where I am at all times, when we go shopping and we are in the BIG stroller, keeps asking where I am (since I ride in back) to make sure my parents didn’t forget me somewhere (I know Mommy won’t do that, but who knows with Daddy)
Other than growing lots, and lots, and smiling lots and lots, I also laugh now too! I haven’t quite gotten the trick of rolling over, although Alex was trying to teach me how to do that on the floor with Mommy this afternoon. I am VERY good at holding myhead up, when I have tummy time and I even try to move across the room – but I don’t get too far! Ha Ha.
Mommy found out recently, that I really really like violin music – Beethoven, Bach, doesn’t matter much to me – I like the violin…which made Mommy very happy !
Gotta go…want to eat more NOW
Love
Lauren
P.S. I hope to get pictures updated soon too!
